Terms of Service

Last updated: July 23, 2026

These terms cover your use of the PCBusBench software and website. Buying or using PCBusBench means you agree to them. We've kept them short and readable on purpose.

Your license

What PCBusBench is — and isn't

PCBusBench reports what it can read from your hardware and offers guidance based on deterministic rules. It is a diagnostic aid, not a guarantee. We work hard to be accurate and to never state a spec we can't verify, but hardware varies and we can't promise every reading or suggestion is correct for every system.

Before you change anything: BIOS, firmware, and boot settings can cause data loss if changed carelessly. Always back up first, and — especially with disk encryption — make sure you have your recovery key. You are responsible for changes you choose to make to your own system.

No warranty; limitation of liability

The software is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent allowed by law, PCBusBench and its operator are not liable for any indirect or consequential damages, or for actions you take based on the app's output. Where liability can't be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for the software.

Changes and governing law

We may update these terms; the "last updated" date will change when we do. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee, United States.
